How to Play The Piano

There is no necessity for a person to learn music for the purpose of playing. The piano can be played for the music written by somebody.

The piano can be played very easily. The things that are required for learning to play the piano are the keyboard or the piano, a minimum of three fingers, time for practicing and knowledge to count the numbers till 8.

When the piano is looked into, one can observe it with 88 keys and 12 notes. These 12 notes are repeated again and again in a sequence. The first note is called as A note is a white key and the next is the B note and then is C, D, E, F and G. Thus these letters will be repeated again and again.

The player may think that the notes are only 7 and the remaining 5 are the black keys. These keys are flat and sharp. If a person plays the black note that is on the right of G, it is called as G sharp. When the A note is played, it can again be called as the A flat. It may sound like confused, but is of very important for a person to understand this concept.

The middle key called C is the home key of the piano. It is a white note that is available on the left of the 2 black notes. If any confusion prevails, it is better to start from the first note and continue with ABC and then proceed to figure out the same.

The player should put his right hand thumb finger on the middle key C and count it as number 1. The counting should be continued to the right for both the white and black keys till 5. When this second note of C chord is done, the player can proceed to the next note E.
